(21) Another mystery of light is the first of the signs, given at Cana (cf. Jn 2:1- 12), when Christ changes water into wine and opens the hearts of the disciples to faith, thanks to the intervention of Mary, the first among believers.

Let us pray a scriptural

2nd luminous mystery

Our Father

On the third day there was a marriage at Cana in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there (Jn 2:1)

Hail Mary

Jesus also was invited to the marriage, with his disciples(Jn 2:2)

Hail Mary

When the wine failed, the mother of Jesus said to him, "They have no wine" (Jn 2:3)

Hail Mary

And Jesus said to her "O woman, what have you to do with me? My hour has not yet come." (Jn 2:4)

Hail Mary

His mother said to the servants,"Do whatever he tells you" (Jn 2:5)

Hail Mary

Jesus said to them, "Fill the jars with water." And they filled them up to the brim. (Jn 2:7)

Hail Mary

He said to them, " Now draw some out, and take it to the steward of the feast." (Jn 2:8)

Hail Mary

The steward of the feast tasted the water now become wine and did not know where it came from (though the servants who had drawn the water knew) (Jn 2:9)

Hail Mary

The steward of the feast called the bridegroom and said to him, "Every man serves the good wine first...but you have kept the good wine until now" (Jn 2:9-10)

Hail Mary

This, the first of his signs, Jesus did at Cana, in Galilee, and manifested his glory, and his disciples believed in him. '(Jn 2:11)

Hail Mary

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit./  As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.  Amen.
